Precautions for using air compressor

1. Clean the machine properly. After the air compressor has been running for a long time, it is strictly prohibited to clean it with cold water.

2. Regularly conduct manual exhaust tests on the safety valve of the gas storage tank to ensure its normal and effective operation.

3. Operators should undergo specialized training and must fully understand the structure, performance, and functions of air compressors and auxiliary equipment, and be familiar with operation and maintenance procedures.

4. The air compressor should be kept away from steam and dust. The intake pipe should be equipped with a filtering device.

5. Keep the exterior of the gas storage tank clean. Welding or hot working near the gas storage tank is prohibited. The gas storage tank should undergo a hydraulic test once a year, with a test pressure of 1.5 times the working pressure. The pressure gauge and safety valve should be regularly inspected and replaced.

6. When cleaning the heat sink, do not use the combustion method to remove oil stains from the pipeline. Cleaning, tightening and other maintenance work can only be carried out after shutdown. It is strictly prohibited to aim the air outlet at the human body or other equipment to prevent injury or damage.

7. Operators should wear work clothes, and women should tuck braids into their work hats. It is strictly prohibited to operate under the influence of alcohol, leave the work post without authorization, and find someone to replace the job at will.

8. When the air compressor stops, gradually open the exhaust valve of the air storage tank, slowly reduce the pressure, and correspondingly reduce the diesel engine speed, so that the air compressor runs at low speed and no load for 5-10 seconds. After stopping, the diesel engine continues to run at low speed for 5 seconds before stopping again. When the winter temperature is below 5 degrees, the cooling water without antifreeze should be drained after stopping the machine.

9. Before starting the air compressor, check and prepare according to regulations, and pay attention to opening all valves of the air storage tank. After starting the diesel engine, it is necessary to perform heating operations at low, medium, and rated speeds. Please ensure that all instrument readings are normal before operating with load. The air compressor should gradually increase the load to start, and only operate at full load after all parts are normal.

10. During the operation of the air compressor, attention should be paid to the instrument readings. If any abnormalities are found, the machine should be stopped immediately for inspection. Inside the gas storage tank The atmospheric pressure shall not exceed the pressure specified on the nameplate. Every 2-4 hours of operation, the condensate and water discharge valves of the intercooler and air storage tank should be opened 1-2 times.
